Gee Lawson was founded in 1939 as a trading company of chemicals and dyes. Since then the company has seen considerable growth and diversification

1989 Nutritional division was established to focus on the growing market for health food supplements and nutritional ingredients

1999 With support needed for European customers an office was opened in Lugano, Switzerland

2002 Fast turnaround of stock is required by our customers so a distribution and repacking facility was purchased and merged into the Group

2003 Continued growth in the Gee Lawson group, operating from three sites in London, Lugano Switzerland, and a dedicated distribution centre in Nottingham England

2005 Building for the future we re-located the Headquarters to purpose built offices in London and will be expanding the warehouse facilities

2006 Further developments with pan-European distribution agreements and further improved links with SW Asian sourcing and a Chinese partnership.

2007 Increased Quality Assurance controls by acquiring a PSL irradiation testing equipment for in-house testing.

2009 Obtained FEMAS accrediation. A new consultant taken on to support our business opportunties in Italy.

2010 Obtained ISO Accrediation. New Food and Beverage consultant joins the UK office. Quality Seal Programme in place.

2011 Continued development in people and principals see a positive start to the year.
