We are all beginning to watch the Olympics unfold and wondering how many gold’s we are going gain. For some the time is a wonderful experience but for distribution companies this is not the time to be exporting and importing. Inspections taking longer, if at all, prices been rising and factories closing due to the bans from the Chinese Government. Oh the joys.

It will not stop with the Olympics as in September the Paraolympic games takes place so any rest bite is likely to continue till late September.

Like others we have forecast as best we can, so please work with us so we can service you the best way. 

The harvest for shells in manufacturing of chitosan and glucosamine is a little later this year and it looks as though the levels of usuable shells is lower than last year. Demand is up so prices are very stable at a higher rate close to those just before the Games started. We really will not know what yields will be used until at least mid September. We have some stocks so if you are in the market, ask for a price.
